Excellent Meat Sauce
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion
1 tbsp. freshly crushed garlic
1 cup red wine
1 jar 750 ml. Deacon Vale Farm Tomato
Salt and pepper
Heat oil in large bottomed pot. Add onions
and garlic. Add ground beef, which has been seasoned with
salt and pepper. Cook for two – three minutes until beef
takes some colour. Your pan should be hot before you begin
this process. Add tomato sauce and red wine. Simmer gently
for 15 minutes while you cook your pasta.
Serve pasta and sauce with crusty bread,
green salad and a robust red wine.
